The nights your parents let you stay out past bedtime, run around at dusk, sharing a picnic with neighbors, catching fire flies, dancing under the stars….yup that’s all happening tomorrow night and (bonus!) it’s all in the name of a great cause!
The Sheldon Museum presents its annual Pops Concert followed by fabulous fireworks on Thursday, June 29. Due to the weather forecast and an already rain-soaked field, the concert will be held in the Kenyon Arena of the Peterson Family Athletic Complex of Middlebury College. It’s a great venue with wonderful acoustics — and no mosquitoes! You are encouraged to bring picnics and lawn chairs so you can sit close to all the musical action, upper level seating is available.
The Arena opens for picnics at 5:30 PM; Concert begins at 7:30 PM: Fireworks Display at Sunset. Tickets: Adults $25, Youth 12–18 $10, and children under 12 years of age FREE. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, flashlights, picnic dinners. Refreshment table will offer for sale hot dogs, drinks, and sweets.
Ticket prices: Adult $25, Youth age 12-18, $10; children under 12 admitted free, courtesy of donations from our sponsors and underwriters. Tickets may be purchased at the Concert. Proceeds from the Concert benefit the Sheldon Museum.
