Where’s Waldo? This summer, he can be found hiding in local businesses all around Middlebury!

The famous children’s book character in the red and white striped shirt and black-rimmed specs is visiting 25 different local businesses (well, 24 businesses and one library) throughout our town this July. Those who spot him can win prizes, including buttons, book coupons and more.

Anyone who wishes to participate can pick up a “Find Waldo Local in Middlebury!” passport with the names of all the participating sites until July 31st, and get their passport stamped or signed for each Waldo they spot. The first 125 Waldo seekers to get their passports stamped or signed at ten or more sites can bring their passports back to The Vermont Book Shop to collect a Where’s Waldo pin and a $1 off coupon for a Where’s Waldo book. Collecting store stamps or signatures at twenty or more businesses will entitle diligent seekers entry into the grand prize drawing. There is no charge to participate and the hunt lasts for the entire month of July.
