‘Matilda Jr.’

The Town Hall Theater’s Young Company presents  the Tony Award-winning musical about an extraordinary little girl with extraordinary powers. The musical’s narrative centers on Matilda Wormwood, a precocious 5-year-old girl with the gift of telekinesis, who loves reading, overcomes obstacles caused by her family and school, and helps her teacher to reclaim her life. A movie version was released in 2022. The production is directed by THT Artistic Director, Douglas Anderson and features a cast of 25 young actors, singers and dancers.
