The Craftsbury Chamber Players will perform an outdoor socially distanced concert of classical music for violin, cello and piano. (Rain date Saturday September 19 at 4pm). Entitled “A Viennese Salon”, the program includes works by Brahms, Beethoven, Faure, Shubert, and Tchaikovsky. Musicians are Mary Jane Austin, Frances Rowell and Mary Rowell.
The concert is free, but at-will donations to CCP are encouraged.
This is a special opportunity to experience what has been missing in our collective summer: the joys of live chamber music and a safe gathering of community.
Committed to their art and their audiences even in this unusual summer, the CCP has outfitted a trailer as a mobile stage and toured the state giving concerts on a farm, a commons, a town hall lawn, and the Bread and Puppet amphitheater. This Sunday afternoon at the Lincoln Library, their only appearance in Addison Count, promises to be magical.
