Sustainability Expo Children’s Activities

The Sustainability Expo at MUMS on Saturday, May 14, 9 am – 4 pm features 16 workshops, 40 exhibits and fresh, local foods. There will be a variety of FREE, hands-on, educational and fun activities for children of all ages throughout the Exhibit Hall.

Here is a sampling of the offerings:

• Create fun soap sculptures with Vermont Organic Soap’s Sudzy Putty, a 100% natural, moldable soap.
• Make upcycled plastic bottle Hanging Planters and take home your own hanging plant.
• Blend smoothies when you pedal a stationary “Smoothie Bike” and have a delicious smoothie!
• Design and build a Roominate dreamhouse with a working crane, elevator and spinner.
• Build rolling construction vehicles – a forklift, differ or roller – with Cool Builders lego-like blocks.
• Build a royal carriage, corner bistro or pop star stage with Cool Builders lego-like blocks.
• Color your favorite Paw Patrol pictures with paint, crayons or color pencils.
• Take an Energy Quiz and win a Raffle Prize…and much more!

Admission is $5 for Adults and children 16 and older. FREE FOR CHILDREN UNDER 16!
