1003325_616124538420718_2139766996_nIn case you missed the video on Monday about Middlebury Foods; we’re reviewing the local non-profit today. Trust us, their aim, like ours, is to save you time and money. Sounds great, right?! Read on for more details about how you and your family can save on groceries.

Middlebury Foods is a student-run 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to serving Addison County communities. They sell highly affordable fresh produce and quality meat. Their goal is to ensure that citizens of Addison County have convenient access to the healthy and delicious food they want.

Save money. By cutting out the supermarket and buying from wholesale distributors, Middlebury Foods is able to save customers anywhere from 15-35% over what they’d pay at the supermarket. No need to compromise with cheap, processed calories—this is more bang for less buck.

Save Time. They deliver every month, right after work and on Sundays. Pickups take less than 5 minutes. No bargain-hunting, squinting at unit prices, weighing and bagging or waiting in line at the register. Plus with they’re at five Addison County locations in Brandon, Middlebury, Bristol, Vergennes and North Ferrisburgh.

Parents deserve the chance to give their kids the best—and we believe that starts with a nutritious, wholesome diet.

Here’s what one happy customer reported:

“Our experience with Middlebury foods has been great! As far as the food boxes themselves, our experience in that area has also been good. The amount and quality of the food in the boxes is good and more affordable than buying at the store. For a large family a family box will provide 2-3 meals, and for smaller families it would provide close to a weeks worth of groceries.”

Eliza, MiniBury Founder

Hello, I’m Eliza. I founded MiniBury in 2012 because I had a hunch that I wasn't the only parent in Addison County missing fun family friendly events. I love the challenge of finding and sharing information about our community to other parents.
