This Saturday is going to be a big one in downtown Middlebury.
Foolaroo, a free community-wide celebration, will feature world-class circus arts performers, live music, sidewalk sales, Middlebury Money giveaways, and free offerings and activities from Neighbors, Together. This event, produced by many partners, culminates the multi-year Middlebury rail-bridge construction project, and signals the rebirth of our downtown.
Foolaroo is a new twist on Foodaroo, the food truck festival that ran for five years in downtown Middlebury before the pandemic. This year, in lieu of food trucks, attendees are encouraged to support local restaurants as they rebound from COVID and construction.

Here’s what to expect:
Live Performance! Town Hall Theater and Middlebury Underground present a feast of “fools”:
1:00-1:45pm, Town Green, The Real McCoy Show (pictured above), international stunt comedy with a hard hat.
2:00-2:45pm, College Park (across from Shafers), Cate Great, gravity-defying, high-end circus comedy.
3:00-3:45pm, Marble Works, Snap Boogie, America’s Got Talent & NBA half-time performer combining high-energy dance & crazy stunts.
3:50-4:00 pm, Marble Works, Rachel Schiffer, stunning wire walker, gymnast, aerialist, and acrobatic flyer.
4:00-5:00pm, Marble Works, Atom & The Orbits 7-piece dance band playing modern rock & roll.
Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and then see the rollicking, side-splitting comedy Servant of Two Masters, live at Town Hall Theater, at 7 p.m. Tickets at townhalltheater.org or call 382-9222.
