Break out your costumes, the Middlebury Spooktacular is coming to town!
Hay bales, festive games, and costumes will once again decorate the town green on SUNDAY, OCTOBER 27th for the 6th Annual Middlebury Spooktacular. The green will be alive with music, dancing, costumes, face painting and games for all ages, including a Jumpy Castle! Festivities will kick off at 1:00pm and will conclude with a children’s trick or treat parade along Main Street led by the legendary Spooktacular Witch!
The children’s Main Street trick or treat sidewalk parade will leave the green at 2:30pm. Accompanied by parents and Spooktacular volunteers, the procession will cross to the Post Office and continue along Main Street to Cannon Park, where the parade will cross and go back up the street to the town green. Happy Valley Orchard will be on hand selling their delicious cider and doughnuts throughout the event!
Start planning your costume and get your candy bags ready because, according to Sara Stone (last year’s good witch of ceremonies), “it is the most fun I’ve ever had in costume and that’s why I’ve volunteered to be the ‘Good Witch of Ceremonies’ again this year!” Be sure to visit and dance with her at the Gazebo!
The event is being sponsored by the Better Middlebury Partnership* and our local business sponsors— Casella and National Bank of Middlebury, with help from our sustaining sponsors—Farm Fresh 102.9, Town of Middlebury, Middlebury College, r.k.
