Bridge School

Bridge School Summer Camp is a holistic summer camp experience. All weeks of camp include a fun and balanced approach to the day; blending crafts with outdoor free play, energetic group games, music and storytelling. And, of course, we enjoy eating together — all campers please bring a sack lunch, snack and water bottle.

Camp Terrahana

Camp Terrahana is located in Middlebury’s Wright Park. Enjoy the Vermont forests in summertime as we play lots of games, gather around campfires, tell stories, experiment with natural crafts, and let ourselves be wild and free!

Eddy Farm School

At Eddy Farm Riding Camp the focus is learning how to ride while having fun and being safe. Campers groom, tack, and ride their horse daily. The staff is knowledgeable with lots of horse experience and always there to help.

Green Mountain Adventures

Now in its 24th season, Green Mountain Adventures offers a variety of outdoor adventure day camps uniquely designed to safely lead children and young adults into the vast playground of rocks, rivers, and mountains surrounding our Central Vermont community. Participants engage in multi-activity wilderness adventures including canoeing and kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, river-tubing, and rock climbing. Each camp provides imaginative and unforgettable journeys in some of the most beautiful backcountry wilderness areas in and around the Green Mountains.

Mythwood (formerly Living Forest)

Do you remember how it felt to play outside as a kid? Wandering, exploring, mud fights, fort making and make-believe until your parents called you home for dinner? At our camps, we encourage and create this feeling of timeless play with games like capture the flag, treasure maps and scavenger hunts, storytelling, animal tracking, sneaking and camouflage, and catching little critters. Come get dirty in the woods while discovering the mysteries of the nature, getting comfortable in the outdoors, and of course, having fun! All programs are based in Ripton or Bristol.

Mary Johnson School Age Summer Camp

Located at Mary Hogan Elementary School, our school–age camp offers a wide range of activities. Swimming, art classes, Taekwondo and archery are available to children who have completed kindergarten (and are 6 years old) through grade six, throughout the summer. An emphasis on outdoor play, group games and making friends, exploring the community and individual choice are key pieces of the experience.

Middlebury Area Land Trust

Each summer, MALT brings its mission to life by connecting local youth with the protected lands of their back yards. In forests, meadows, rivers, wetlands, and everywhere in-between we imagine, play, create, build, and connect with nature, and with each other.

Middlebury Community Music Center 

The Middlebury Community Music Center believes in immersion as a powerful tool for budding musicians. Our camps promote the joys as well as the focus required to make excellent music — and have fun doing it! Each camp features a final performance, providing a focal point and a celebration for the week. Camps are available for all skill levels, ranging from Music Discoveries Camp for children ages 4-7 to Camp Adagio for children ages 9-18. We can’t wait to make music with you this summer!

Middlebury Studio School

Middlebury Studio School fosters community engagement and creative growth in the visual arts through quality instruction in clay, fine arts and other crafts.

Middlingo — Middlebury Language Center

Learn the language and culture from one of the oldest civilizations in the world, China. Previous summer camps were filled with food, fun, friendship and outdoor activities, with the added bonus of doing these activities while learning Chinese. Previous knowledge of Chinese is not required; all abilities welcome.

Quilter’s Corner Sewing Camp

If you have a 10-14 year old that has interest in sewing or has experience sewing, these are the perfect camps for them. Projects will be determined by the skills of the student. Great opportunity to learn new techniques and how to sew!  Tap into your child’s creativity and watch it soar!

Town Hall Theater 

Rock-It Science camp for teens; puppet and theater camp for little ones; two Young Company musicals (“Oliver” and “The Winter’s Tale”); and an Adventure into the Arts camp, a collaboration between THT, Middlebury Community Music Center and Middlebury Studio School. Find more details here.

Apple Yard Arts & Adventure Camp

Exploring individual creativity and artistic expression is what we are all about. Through painting and drawing, nature sculptures, paper mache, wood masks, sewing even friendship bracelets and more we will encourage the creative juices to flow. In Lincoln we know how to have fun adventures! Woods walks, gardening, fairy houses, hikes, building forts and story telling will all be part of the weeks at Apple Yard. Because we all have energy to expend, especially in the summer, we will have free form play time and sports from tag to soccer and a massive outdoor game of hide and seek! On hot days we will get the sprinkler out.

Summit Soccer School

Summit Soccer School has provided soccer instruction and fun on the Mt. Abraham campus to Addison County children from some of the area’s most knowledgeable soccer coaches for over 28 years. Summit Soccer School is directed by Dustin Corrigan, Mt. Abraham Union High School’s Varsity Girls Soccer Coach. The coaching staff features area high school and club coaches as well as talented current and former college and high school players from the area.

Willowell Summer Camps

Willowell camps aim to foster a sense of pride and respect for nature in youth of all ages. Camps will bring children outdoors for safe, covid-friendly programming that get children playing, getting dirty, and learning from Willowell’s 230 acres of meadows, wetlands and forest. Your children will surely come home each day tired, full of new songs, smelling of campfire, and ready to take on the world with a renewed respect for themselves, their peers, and the great outdoors!

Lake Champlain Maritime Museum

LCMM’s Lake Adventure Camps offer a variety of week-long activities led by highly experienced program staff, using the fleet of watercraft, replica vessels, and teaching facilities at our 4-acre lakeside campus. Common Ground Day Camps

Our popular one-week day camp invites young campers in the Addison and Chittenden County region to join us for the best things Vermont summers have to offer. Outdoor activities include archery, tennis, swimming, exploring the pond and creek, identifying wildlife, hiking, and gardening. Indoors, we’ll cook together, play music, and explore our artsy side.

Camp Outright

Common Ground Center is proud to partner with Outright Vermont to host two six-day, five-night residential summer camp sessions for queer, trans, questioning, and allied youth. We welcome folks from throughout the U.S. and beyond, with campers that range from age 13-17 and counselors-in-training ages 18-19. You don’t need to identify as LGTBQ+ to come to camp; straight allies are also welcome.

Green Mountain Audubon Center

Our day camps invite children to explore the world around them, get in touch with all of their senses, and connect to the plants and animals that call the Green Mountains home. There are moments of magic every day at camp, whether around the bonfire, on a hike to Lookout Rock, or scooping for critters at the pond.

Art on the Farm

Outdoor art and play camps for kids offered by Moya Cavanagh and Zelie Wright-Neil on a 100-acre farm in Leicester, VT. Inspired by Last Child in the Woods by Richard Louv, this camp is intended to connect children with the natural world through exploration, art, imagination, and play. Children will spend the week exploring the land’s many woods and gardens and interpret what they see through creative projects.
