In addition to the fabulous farmer’s markets in Middlebury and Bristol this weekend, there are three fabulous events happening around town.
The Middlebury Mini Muster a special event held at the Middlebury Rec Park on Saturday, July 21 from 10:00am-12:00pm in which children of all ages are invited to join members of the Middlebury Fire Department to play games, enjoy refreshments and tour fire engines! Who doesn’t love fire trucks?? Plus donations and raffle sales from this event will go
directly to the Middlebury Fire Department.
If you want to head a bit north, then check out the Small Boat Festival at the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum or Circus-Palooza at the Shelburne Museum. Both events are sure to be big hits with the kids. The Small Boat Festival runs Saturday and Sunday including a Kids Duct Tape Regatta where families come build and launch a boat using only cardboard and duct tape! Build a boat: 1pm-3pm; Launch at 3pm. Standard admission fees apply (kids under 5 free!). If water isn’t your thing, no worries, there’s plenty of fun to be had on shore! Visit the circus with the kids at Shelburne Museum and experience the thrill of the big top.
Hope you have a great weekend and if there’s something we miss, let us know!
