Apparently the powers that be have decided it’s the weekend for us to culture ourselves, so get out of the house and explore these three great events around town this weekend. Trust us, you’ll feel worldly just by showing up!
Music lovers hit up the last two days of Festival on the Green. There’s two performers tonight and the festival concludes with a street dance Saturday night at 7:00pm.
If you have a budding artist at home (or want one), don’t miss the Middlebury Arts Walk tonight at 5:00pm. The Arts Walk is a great way to explore town, view fabulous art, and expend some energy before bedtime.
French Heritage Day in Vergennes is this Saturday from 10:00am to dusk. Vergennes promises a family friendly day filled extra special French fun. Check out their website for a full schedule of events.

Ben & Jerry’s Factory in Waterbury is hosting an outdoor movie screening of The Muppets. Movie starts at dusk, bring a blanket, chair, and bug spray. For a full schedule, follow the link above and click on the events tab.
In addition to museum exhibits, kids can explore art activities including in the Owl Cottage at the Shelburne Museum. This weekend, explore using wires, pipe cleaners, and recycled materials to construct your own sci-fi creature inspired by Time Machines: Robots, Rockets and Steampunk. 12-4 p.m.
The folks at Bread & Butter Farm in Shelburne are serving up burgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers, salads, music and family fun on Monday (starts June 4th) and Friday nights (starts May 11th) from 4:30 – 7:30. Admission to Burger Night is Free. Burgers start at $7.00.
