yard sales!

06.04.2015 By: Eliza, MiniBury Founder

Have you spruced up your house this year? De-cluttered? Rearranged furniture? It’s remarkable how removing just a few key unused items can transform a room and leave you feeling so satisfied. If you’ve been looking to declutter and reorganize your home, here’s a perfect opportunity to send your unwanted goods to a new loving home! Both Bristol and Vergennes are hosting Town Wide Yard Sales on June 20th.

lcys_logoJoin the Little City Yard Sale! Sell your unwanted and unused, antiques, memorabilia, clothing, furniture, electronics, children’s items and more. Set up your sale at your home or buy a space on the city green.

The Addison County Chamber of Commerce do the marketing and bring the buyers to the city.

They’ll publish an official yard sale map showing locations of all participants and we’ll provide you with an official sign to place on your lawn. There are three ways to be included:

  1. List your name and location for just $15
  2. Enhanced listing which includes your name, location, plus a 25-word description for $25
  3. Live outside of Vergennes or don’t want people coming to your home? Rent a 10×10 space on the City Green for $25. This option also includes the 25-word description.

** For those sellers participating in the sale at city green each space is 10×10, seller is responsible for set-up (table/tent), clean-up and all sales transactions. If you bring a pop-up tent—TENTS CANNOT BE STAKED to the lawn! **

You can register online using your credit card. Paper registration forms are available upon request. Please contact Maria Benoit by email or call 388-7951.

Looking for more town wide sales? Bristol is also hosting one Saturday June, 20th!

Hello, I’m Eliza. I founded MiniBury in 2012 because I had a hunch that I wasn't the only parent in Addison County missing fun family friendly events. I love the challenge of finding and sharing information about our community to other parents.
