Happy Day!
September was all about striking the balance between work and life. That’s why it’s the first week of October and this is only our fourth blog post since August! Can you relate?
On the home front the back to school / adjustment to new schedules shuffle has been both amazingly awesome and utterly exhausting. Priorities have been rearranged countless times and thus it’s taken nearly a month to get back to the keyboard to start hustling out these words again. But we’re here to say this is going to be the most killer year ever for MiniBury!
This past month has been all about lining up expert contributors, guest bloggers and partnerships behind the scenes. While everything is still in the works, we’re too excited not to announce a new collaboration with the Addison County Mindfulness Project. We will be sharing tips, tricks and scientifically proven methods for being more present in the current moment; we promise, this is not about having to do something extra but rather about noticing the moment as it’s happening! Plus we’ll dive deep into those pesky tantrums both yours and your kids ?. The second project that’s going to knock your socks off is a new series of parent/coach interviews that will give you an insider’s view into the commitments you might be considering signing your kids up for (think ice hockey, soccer, music lessons, yoga, theater classes, etc).* We’re busting down word of mouth notifications and keeping you in the loop so you don’t miss a single opportunity to get out of the house and engaged with our awesome community!
Needless to say, we’re super stoked. Plus, we just learned that this is how our local kindergarteners define the characteristic of a model student and it’s applicable to anyone, not just a kindergartener!
Wishing you health, happiness and a lot of adventure this week.
