Our local history museum is hosting a fundraiser this Friday evening — and there are some excellent items up for auction. Folks can buy tickets to attend the family-friendly outdoor shindig (which includes live music by Atom and the Orbits, a barbecue, bar and live auction), or just bid on the goods online. Here are some of the items that caught our eye:
- a horse-drawn sleigh ride for up to ten people at Thornapple Farm
- a family Summer 2023 season pool pass to Middlebury’s outdoor town pool
- one week at Middlebury’s popular summer day camp, Camp Kookamunga
- a 3-hour rental of the Middlebury Parks and Recreation Gymnasium
- four “Bread a Month” gift certificates good for one American Flatbread pizza in October, November, December, and January
- One adult season pass to the Middlebury Snow Bowl (includes up to two season passes for children under the age of 12 as of November 1, 2022)
- $250 gift certificate to Vermont Book Shop
- $100 gift certificate to Vermont State Parks (can be used towards vehicle season pass, rental of cabins or campsites, etc)
