Looking for a great summer activity to add your routine? Check out this science based program that’s happening at the Treleven Farm in New Haven this summer.
The nature exploration program will meet once a week for six weeks (see below for exact dates) to delve into science and nature, exploring such topics as the water cycle, erosion, and the nature of air. Each session opens with a puppet show, followed by hands-on experiments. The curriculum is based on the classes taught by the Four Winds Nature Institute. MiniBury’s favorite part – each class is stand-alone, so you can join for any or all. The lead teacher is Erin Ruble. Megan Cousino and Cheryl Mitchell are her assistants.
