On Tuesday nights starting this week, the Basin Harbor Club in Vergennes hosts Harbor Fair: a dinning experience dedicated to kids with an emphasis on fun! You can expect yummy food to please even the pickiest eaters (and budding foodies), carnival games, hay rides, Dux the balloon man, campfire s’mores and much more. If Tuesday nights don’t work for you, be sure to check out the Red Mill restaurant at Basin Harbor. This is one of those wonderful, off the beaten path places that is the perfect spot for a family dinner. The grass airstrip provides some serious entertainment, especially if you’re lucky enough to see one of the small planes land while you eat, plus the Red Mill also has an enormous outdoor play structure.
