Who’s busy this weekend? It seems that everyone likes to cram in as much as possible on the weekends. So you could get together with your college buddies and hang off a deck, but if that’s not your style, then here’s what’s happening in and around town:
Three day Stampede Lawn Sale at the Bristol Recreational Park. Benefits cystic fibrosis research. Huge lawn sale, raffle, flea market, bake sale, chicken barbecue (Saturday), walk-a-thon (Sunday) and more. Story Walk in Salisbury kicks off Saturday at 10:30 am. This self guided tour includes a short hike and an on going story. The story (if the weather cooperates) will be up until Sunday at 5:00 pm. Need more info, see our full post here.
If you’re looking for a quick trip out of the house, try the story hour at the Morgan Horse Museum in Middlebury on Saturday morning from 11-noon.
Headed north (or have a horse lover under your roof), then stop by Shelburne Farms for the Green Mountain Draft Horse Field Day. This day is sure to delight the kiddies with demonstration of draft horses working, starting at 11.
