UPDATE: The museum has extended the deadline to June 15.
Does your kid like to collect stuff? (What kid doesn’t?) The Sheldon Museum is launching a summer exhibit called Addison County Collects, which will showcase a diverse selection of objects loaned from area collections that spark conversation and tell stories. But the folks at the Sheldon know that when it comes to collecting, kids are the ultimate pros, and they’re asking local families to participate. Here’s how you can be part of the exhibit:
Take a photo of your child with their collection and submit it by June 15 to [email protected]. All types of collections are welcome: rocks, stuffies, coins, Pokémon, cool sticks, unicorns… you name it.
*You will not need to bring in or loan any of your objects. The museum is just looking to feature photos of the collections.*
