CORNWALL CHURCH HOSTS SECOND ANNUAL BLUEBERRY FESTIVAL AUGUST 2
Lots of Cobbler, Pie, kids’ fun, and live music set for town green!
Last year’s first-‐ever Blueberry Festival was such a success, the members and friends of the First Congregational Church of Cornwall, UCC will host its Second Annual Blueberry Festival on Saturday, August 2nd on the town green.
Homemade Blueberry Cobbler with ice cream and blueberry sundaes will sell for $4.00 each. And since there was a shortage of homemade pies last year, the Church promises plenty of blueberry pies for sale this year in addition to other delicious blueberry baked goods. A duck pond and face painting will be on hand for kids, as will the water balloon toss that kept folks of all ages laughing last year. Winners of the balloon toss will receive a coupon for a free dessert! Live music will keep toes tapping throughout the event.
The fun begins a 1 pm and runs until 4 pm – rain or shine.
The green and church are at the intersection of Vermont Routes 30 and Route 74, just a few miles southwest of Middlebury.
