Bonnie’s Book Drive

The Vermont Book Shop is kindly hosting a book drive over the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day weekend. Folks can drop off gently used children’s books, or stop in to purchase new books to donate, on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, January 16-18, 2016.  All donations will go directly into the hands of local children who need and want them. 

This is a great Martin Luther King Day of Service project for families and children, and a great time to clean off your bookshelves after the holidays. 

Bonnie’s Book Foundation has distributed more than 20,000 books to children in Addison County in the past three years.  Bonnie’s Book Foundation supports children’s literacy by providing books directly to children who may not own books at home. We also support schools and other programs that serve at-risk children with grants for books and learning materials.
