Harvest Music Series: Bloodroot Gap

Bloodroot Gap: Formed after a serendipitous jam session at a Vermont bluegrass festival, Bloodroot Gap is a musical collaboration between twin brothers Rob and Jim McCuen, Freeman Corey, and Jake Munson. The band plays traditional and progressive bluegrass, relying on dynamics and interplay between the instruments to form a unique and captivating sound. The band delivers tight, energetic performances that pay homage to the greats while forging an original path of their own. Bloodroot Gap won the 2024 Podunk Bluegrass Festival band competition, both the judges’ pick and Fan Favorite award.
Join us at the orchard for a day of apple picking and great music! The Cider Garden will also be open for full cider pours and tasting flights, cider slushies, charcuterie boards, s’mores, soft pretzels, and so much more. Gather around our picnic tables and firepits, bring a blanket to lounge, or walk around to enjoy stunning views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains.
