Meet a Kestrel in Cornwall

In collaboration with the Vermont Institute of Natural Science (VINS), Middlebury Area Land Trust presents an encounter with North America’s smallest falcon! Kestrel populations are declining nationwide; learn how you can help by installing a nest box and/or becoming a Nest Box Monitor. Join VINS educators to learn about this colorful, year-round VT resident and meet one in person! Middlebury-Area Vermont Master Naturalists are teaming with VINS to increase the number of boxes in Addison County (prime kestrel habitat!) and collecting data on breeding pair usage and fledging success.
