Plugged In: Technology, the Internet, and Child Safety 

This workshop is for parents and caregivers of young children and looks at screen time and the effects of technology on early brain development. What are the pros and cons of using computers in classrooms. child care centers and homes? We will also discuss the major risks to children using technology such as, cyber bullying, exposure to pornography, online gaming, and “sexting.’ as well as ways of keeping children safer with emphasis on supervision and education.
