Stargazing: Lyrids Meteor Shower with Middlebury Astronomy Club

Whether you are an amateur stargazer or a celestial enthusiast, you are invited to a Lyrids Meteor Shower watch event with MALT and Middlebury College’s Mittelman Observatory.

Folks will gather at the Otter Creek Gorge, Northern Trailhead to watch this annual meteor shower. Catherine Miller, the observatory specialist, and her team of students will guide us in watching this spectacular star show. Equipment such as binoculars and telescopes will be available for viewing star clusters, galaxies, planets and more.
