We Read Banned Books Party

Harry Potter, The Hate U Give, and Captain Underpants. What do these titles have in common? Across the country, all three have been targeted for removal or restriction in libraries and schools. And sadly, they’re not alone. Celebrate the freedom to read by participating in Ilsley Library’s We Read Banned Books challenge. Over the course of the summer, read 5 of the banned books listed on the card and get invited to the We Read Banned Books t-shirt and ice cream party on Saturday, August 20.
