The Fifth Grade Passport Open Doors to Vermont Resorts with Free Skiing and Riding
If you have a 5th grader in your house, you’ll want to keep reading. Ski Vermont offers FREE skiing and riding all over the state to current 5th graders. So despite recent weather trends, sooner or later winter will actually arrive here and we’ll all be itching for ways to get out and enjoy our state. Check out this great video that tells you what you need to know about the passport program. MiniBury also loves any overages from the $11 processing fee goes towards Vermont farmers. Last year the organization gave $16,365 to Keep Local Farms. Keep Local Farms is an education and contribution program that connects consumers with local dairy farmers and encourages the purchase of healthy, local foods which sustain the working landscape for future generations.

Skiing and riding are magical sports and that can change lives, supporting healthier decisions and experiences that can last a lifetime. There is no better time to fall in love with snow-covered mountains of Vermont than during the final years of care-free adolescence. To help our youth get to the hills, we offer participating fifth graders up to 88 free days of skiing and riding at Vermont’s alpine and Nordic resorts with the Fifth Grade Passport.
Online applications will be processed and mailed faster than mailed applications!
Parents can also download and print the application.
Mail or email the application along with proof of 5th grade status (recent report card or copy of birth certificate) and send in a check for the $10 processing fee.

Hello, I’m Eliza. I founded MiniBury in 2012 because I had a hunch that I wasn't the only parent in Addison County missing fun family friendly events. I love the challenge of finding and sharing information about our community to other parents.
