Sounds like fun right? This is one summer camp we’d like to join too!
New this year, From Scratch: A Build-it-yourself Summer Camp is all about exploring the outdoor spaces at the Bridge School.
Campers and mentors will build place-based awareness exploring the Bridge School’s outdoor spaces and its plant, insect and animal inhabitants. Together they will plan and build a cob structure from mud and straw to make the outdoor play space more functional and fun. Campers will make snacks from scratch to fuel their day’s play. We’ll also have plenty of time for active play, exploration, and creation. Joe is an art teacher at Red Cedar School and after school director at the Bridge School. Tai is a school garden educator and the after school director at Monkton Central School.
