Tomorrow is the final day of the early holiday shopping season, #GivingTuesday! Since its founding in 2012, #GivingTuesday has inspired giving around the world, resulting in greater donations, volunteer hours, and activities that bring about real change in communities.
Consider the hit #cybermonday just took on our wallet, we’re considering donating time rather than funds this year. Will you be participating? Here are three local options for supporting our childhood community.
HOPE is looking for volunteers to staff the Holiday Shop on November 28 through December 23. We typically have two volunteers during each two-hour shift, 9-11, 11-1, or 1-3. Would you be interested in helping us out this year?
Please contact Heather Potter at (802) 388-3608, ext. 236 or via email.
The Better Middlebury Partnership is still looking for volunteers for this year’s Very Merry Middlebury events. Please use the link below to sign up for spots:

These events are fun to do with a friend or spouse so sign up together! If you are interested in helping out with the gift wrap we would encourage you to bring gifts from home so you can get your wrapping done during the slow moments while you work!
Building Bright Futures (BBF) and its 12 Regional Councils is participating in #GivingTuesday, by raising money for the Vermont Parent Child Center Networks, to buttress their efforts to support families through the provision of gas cards, emergency food or utility vouchers, books, diapers, laundry vouchers and more.

Another way to help is sharing this email with any friends or family members you think might be interested in helping.
Thank you for your consideration!
