The Addison County Child Care Directors group is working with folks from the Makery at the Hannaford Career Center to provide masks for kids in their programs. The need is great, according to Darla Senecal of Building Bright Futures: More than 1500 masks have been requested.
To fill these requests, the volunteer sewing team is in need of more 100% cotton quilting fabric. A yard of fabric will yield about 20 child-sized masks.
Do you have some fabric to give?
Donations can be delivered to the porch of Otter Creek Child Center (150 Weybridge St, Middlebury) or to the front porch of Darla’s home at 49 Munsill Avenue in Bristol.
Donations will be accepted through September 4.
