Middlebury Area Land Trust has a few spots left in its half-day Saturday program for ages 6-9.
Art on the Farm (pictured above and at left) is the brainchild of Cheryl Cesario of Meeting Place Pastures in Cornwall. Cheryl is offering fall art classes — on her farm and incorporating plants and animals — for kids ages 5-10 on Saturdays, including September 11, September 18 and October 9. Classes will run from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and will be $45 for one, or $80 for two classes. To sign up, email [email protected].

TaeKwon Do K.I.C.K.S. offers free introductory classes for students of all ages — “from toddlers to grandparents” — in Middlebury, Vergennes, Hinesburg and Whiting. More info here.
Registration is open for Middlebury Amateur Hockey Association’s youth ice hockey program. Additionally, MAHA is hosting the Boston Bruins Academy in Middlebury this fall. It’s a 4-week program for kids ages 5-9 who have never played organized hockey before. $180 pays for the program plus a complete set of hockey equipment (skates, helmet, stick, pads, etc).
