Create a theatrical production using a bag, six random items and your imagination.
Materials:
Bags (one for each player; they don’t have to be paper)
Found items (whatever looks interesting to you, inside or outside)
A watch or timer (I timed myself when collecting items, and found an egg cup, a pitcher, a tea caddy, a scarf, a hat, a large marble, a perlemoen shell, and a set of alphabet stamps in 45 seconds!
Directions:
You will be making a bag of 4-6 items, collected at random. This can be just for you, or you and a friend can each make a collection bag and swap them. Give yourself time to think up a story you can tell — or a play! — using all the items.
You can set a time limit for working it out; you can make rules about not using the items for their original purposes; you can allow trades of items — this part is up to those participating. You might also pick a favorite story, and then find ways to use all your items in making a play about it. Sharing is MORE than half the fun.
