More Stag & Doe Night Fun!

Middlebury Chocolates is hosting a number of local artisans during Stag & Doe Night. Be sure to stop by while you’re out shopping and enjoying downtown Middlebury.

Middlebury Chocolates will have tastings from Brad Koehler at Windfall Orchards (farmhouse cider and ice cider), smoked chilies and fresh spices from Quill Hill Farm in Poultney, pottery from Colin Gray at Corvid Pottery, awesome cheese board and cutting boards from John Filan, artwork from Dustin Datillio, and lots of chocolate! How delicious!

Just a reminder that this Thursday is Stag & Doe Night, an evening of shopping, drinking, eating and merriment in Middlebury!  I am inviting you all to come downtown for a fun evening – Bring your friends!! (Feel free to pass this email along to your contacts).

Many stores on Main Street, Mill Street, Merchants Row and Frog Hollow will be open for extended hour shopping.

The Hot Cocoa Hut will be open from 5-8pm in Cannon Park, free Gift Wrapping will be open at 51 Main from 5-8pm, the SD Ireland Truck will be downtown from 5-7ish, Otter Creek Child Center will be in Cannon Park for part of the evening selling gingerbread cookies to benefit their school (they were rained out this past Saturday), Karen’s Artisan Popcorn will be in Cannon Park selling fresh kettle corn and IPJ Real Estate and Middlebury Community Music Center at the Community House will be hosting their annual holiday open houses.

You can also enjoy tastings from App Gap Distillery at Edgewater Gallery, Drop-In Brewery at Middlebury Mountaineer, Shacksbury Cider at Clementine and Woodchuck Hard Cider at Skihaus.  The Middlebury Co-Op will be setting up shop at Middlebury Kitchenware and Electronics in the Marble Works to do some food sampling and Middlebury Fitness and the Waybury Inn will be on hand at Forth ‘N Goal selling gift certificates!

In addition we will have our photo booth backdrop set up with our fun holiday props at Skihaus (next to the Woodchuck tasting).  We encourage all of you to stop by and take a pictures with your friends!  Please post and hash tag your photos, #verymerrymiddlebury, #experiencemiddlebury, #winterinvermont.
