Mother nature is quite literally trying to rain on our parade this weekend! We’ll try to keep you posted on all cancellations and postponements, but here’s what we know so far:
Tomorrow’s Quarry Hill School Yard Sale has been postponed until Saturday, June 8.*
As far as we know, the Middlebury Farmer’s Market is rain or shine.
The good news is the weather Monday, Memorial Day, looks more promising! They’ll be lots of parades happening all over the county, but the place to be is Middlebury. After the epic parade – including antique vehicles, animals, floats, candy, marching band – stop by the open house at the new Middlebury Fire Station on Seymour Street. They’ll be offering up tours of the new station, which should be a huge hit with both big and little firefighter fans.
If you’re headed toward Burlington, be sure to cheer on the runners Sunday at the Burlington City Marathon or stop by the new Bigger than T-Rex exhibit, Vermont’s first ever giant dinosaur collection at Echo.
What are your plans this weekend? Email us your rainy day suggestions!
*Please note, the event has also been moved to the Bridge School gym and will be held rain or shine from 9:00 a.m. – noon.*
