Stag & Doe Night

12.10.2012 By: Eliza, MiniBury Founder

Hire yourself a babysitter and hit the town Thursday for Stag & Doe Night in Middlebury. Many local merchants will be open late to help you get your holiday shopping done. Participating shops* will be open from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Because this event is part of A Very Merry Middlebury, you’ll also find the SD Ireland Lighted Cement Mixer, free gift wrapping station, and the hot chocolate hut making Middlebury feel extra festive!

*Look for the antlers, shown above, in the windows of participating shops.

Updates…..
-If you plan on making it out on Thursday remember the stores that are a little off the beaten path…Waterfalls Day Spa, Blossom Basket, Cacklin’ Hens, Otter Creek Used Books, Otter Creek Custom Framing (besides framing they also sell artwork, frames and gift certificates), Bimini Bills, Middlebury Mountaineer and the shops in Frog Hollow.  It would be wonderful to give some of these shops some foot traffic!-All three of the museum gift shops downtown will be open, Henry Sheldon, Folklife and Morgan Horse.  All three have some really wonderful merchandise.

-Also, 51 Main and Two Brothers Tavern will be having holiday drink specials in honor of Stag & Doe Night (Hot Toddies for Two Brothers).  All other area restaurants will be open for dinner and drinks as well!

-Please bring any local gifts you may have purchased over the past few weeks and they can be wrapped at 51 Main while you shop!

Eliza, MiniBury Founder

Hello, I’m Eliza. I founded MiniBury in 2012 because I had a hunch that I wasn't the only parent in Addison County missing fun family friendly events. I love the challenge of finding and sharing information about our community to other parents.
