Yippee the weekend is almost here! Don’t let the cold weather slow you down, email MiniBury and let us know what kind of fun your family is having this weekend!
Tomorrow night, why don’t you drop the kids off for Kid’s Night Out* at Middlebury College, then head over to Mead Chapel to see Majora Carter’s Keynote Address at 7:30. Her address is part of the Middlebury Center for Entrepreneurship Symposium, “Social Entrepreneurship and Social Justice” this weekend. All Symposium events are open to the public.
Saturday head up to Shelburne for the WinterFest at Shelburne Farms, but please dress warmly for this outside event. Or head up to the Snow Bowl and try out the new Wonder Carpet. And don’t forget about the kid friendly programs at Rikert Nordic Center, they host a 3.5-5 year old learn to ski program “Snowflakes” on Saturday mornings (call ahead to reserve a space)!
Sunday brings two usual suspects: Young Tigers Basketball and open skate at the Memorial Sports Center. Both are drop in friendly events.
*You must sign up in advance for Kid’s Night Out.
