Middlebury Community Music Center is set to host a variety of open to the public events at it’s home, the Middlebury Community House (6 Main Street – next to the post office). MCMC, a non-profit organization dedicated to dynamic and quality music education, offers private lessons, group classes, performances, workshops and camps for musicians of all ages, from infants through senior citizens. All are invited to play carols at the Middlebury Community Music Center on Thursday, December 18th at 7:00pm.
All ages! All instruments! That means Flute, Trombone, Trumpet, Piano, Violin, Viola, Cello, Singers!, Recorder, Clarinet, French Horn, Saxaphone, Percussion, Oboe, etc. Folks who haven’t played in many years are very much invited, and also those who practice every day! There is a stack of music in the music center for folks that want to borrow parts to practice. (But practice is not mandatory!!)
There will be a conductor! Bring a stand if you have one and a libation or after dinner snack to share if you feel like it.

A beloved tradition in this beautiful house, Santa will be here ready to hear what’s on your child’s wishlist! This year we are pleased to welcome the community, and will provide live music for the morning. Grab a ticket outside and enjoy sleigh rides while you wait! Part of A Very Merry Middlebury.
Holiday Open House

Come warm up inside with hot cider or mulled wine and tour the building to see how we’ve transformed the Community House into the Middlebury Community Music Center. We’ll have live musical performances, caroling, drinks and snacks. Why not give the gift of music lessons this Holiday Season?
