The Middlebury Farmer’s Market will be starting up their Wednesday market this week. The Wednesday Market is always a bit hit with the kid community, probably because the 9:00-12:30 time slot makes it the perfect morning adventure! Expect to see small groups of local preschoolers visiting the market to buy their weekly produce. The market is a great place to introduce your children to the farm to table concept.
As a teaser, here are some of the items you’ll see on Wednesdays:
- Baked goods (breads and treats!)
- pumpkins, puree & seeds, sunflower oil, beans, cookbook
- Soups, Salads, Desserts
- Dog collars and leashes
- Cheesecakes
- Cakes, cupcakes, quiche, eggs
- Hard Ciders, ice cider, peaches, apples, pies, applebutters
- Savory sauces made with local fruits and vegetables
- Aprons, oven mitts, tea towels
- Blacksmith Items, plant hangers, hooks, serving spoons, jewelry, lamps

Hi, have an unrelated question but didn’t see a contact page on the site. Looking for someone who gives music lessons. I have a three year old who would love it. Any suggestions? Please email me if you think of anything. Thanks

Hi Jamie – I’m not sure about individual music lessons, but we’ve gone to sunshine music and love it! It’s expensive, but our kids actually got a lot out of it. She’s currently running the class out of vergennes and bristol I believe. During the school year there are free world music classes for 0-5 at Ilsley Library too. I’ll throw your question up on facebook too and see what they facebook world says. Are you following us on facebook? Check us out here: https://www.facebook.com/Minibury?ref=hl
