We’re ready to get outside this weekend, how about you?
If you’re looking for an adventure, head up to Lake Champlain Maritime Museum. They’re hosting the annual Pirate Festival on Saturday and Sunday. The weekend is full of family fun for even the littlest scallywag (admission is free for 5 and under!). “Come in costume and enjoy exciting, pirate-themed activities, sing-alongs, dramatic play, and make-and-take crafts for the whole family. Two daily performances by Crabgrass puppet theater; free tickets to the first 200 people each day. Build a kid-sized duct tape Pirate Ship, and join in the Great Pirate Tug-o-War.”After a fun-filled family day on the lake, treat yourself to a kid free night at the Otter Creek Child Center’s annual gala benefit “Sip into Summer.” You can expect to find delicious hors d’oeuvres paired with exclusive Lincoln Peak Vineyard Wines, a silent art auction with art by local artists both big and small! The night out with be complimented by a beautiful Adirondack view and live music. All proceeds will be donated to the Otter Creek Child Center.
