…and we’re back at it. Here’s your weekend to do list:
If you’re feeling active, try hitting the trails on Saturday for the National Winter Trails Day. Both Rikert Nordic Center and Blueberry Hill Inn are participating. Check here for a complete list of participating locations if you’re headed out of town.
On Saturday the Middlebury Women’s Hockey team plays Amherst at 3:00 p.m. Stick around after the game for the annual Skate with the Panthers event! The ladies will host an open ice time for all their fans and hand out team pictures for autographs. Be sure to bring your own skates to join the fun.
More athletics round out the weekend Sunday. Young Tigers Basketball is from 9:00-10:00 a.m and open skate at the Memorial Sports Center is from 2:00 – 3:30 p.m..
If you’re headed north, you might stop by Shelburne Farms for either a horse-drawn sleigh ride (first come first serve from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.) or Bake & Shake – a bread and butter making workshop for children 4 and up accompanied by a parent (you must pre-register by calling 802-985-8686 or e-mail [email protected]).
