Champlain Mini Maker Faire: Tech enthusiasts celebrate the DIY mindset at this quirky science fair featuring robotics, student experiments, arts and crafts and more. Check out the ChampBot Challenge; Drone Derby; Robot Battles; Swap, Stitch, Make clothing hack; and Miss Vermont demonstrating her science-based talent. The Faire will be held at the Coach Barn at Shelburne Farms on Saturday, September 26 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday, September 27 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Explore and be inspired by over 50 DIY projects. $6-9; free for ages 10 and under.
3ʳᵈ Annual Cornwall Cornchuck Tournament: Lawn game enthusiasts celebrate the end of the outdoor season with a friendly competition to benefit the Addison County Parent Child Center in this Sunday, September, 27 from 2:00pm until dark. The evening also features food, drink and a live auction of all the artist created boards. Artist include Laurel Waters, Katharine Montstream, Rory jackson, Jill Madden, Reed Prescott, Joe Bolger, Peter Fried, Jane Ogden, Bay and Jo Jackson, Woody Jackson.
