Today, we thought we’d stick to the “new baby” theme, so if you’re expecting a baby we have a recommendation just for you. Did you know that 2 Wolves Holistic Center in Vergennes is home to the BEST prenatal yoga class around?
We promise you’ll find the classes to be a relaxing workout – no, that’s not a typo, you’ll really feel both relaxed and get a good workout in – that leaves you feeling full of energy and love for your baby; two things that every pregnant lady needs and deserves! The classes, taught by Cathy Ward Turner, mama of two, doula and wealth of knowledge about all things pregnancy, are held Mondays at 5:30 p.m. The classes are drop-in friendly.

Prenatal Yoga uses postures, breathing, and meditation to help ease pregnancy, delivery and the after effects of birth. The classes create flexibility, focus, strength, and awareness through a gentle practice that is designed especially for the pregnant woman’s needs. Prenatal Yoga classes provide a safe and supportive environment for expectant mothers and are a wonderful way to connect with other mothers-to-be. The classes are appropriate for both new and experienced yoga students. All women at any stage in their pregnancy are welcome.Cost: 8 classes will be at a discounted rate of $100 if you pre-register.
