Former Astronaut Stephen Oswald will be joining Saturday’s discussion via Zoom at the Town Hall Theater.
Town Hall Theater, The Vermont Bookshop, Ilsley Library, and the Marquis Theater have partnered to bring the far reaches of the universe to you, from November 7-12. The week’s events culminate in a Space Talk with local experts — and former astronaut Stephen Oswald — on Saturday, November 12, at Town Hall Theater from 2-4pm.

Space Books & Activities at Vermont Bookshop & Isley Library:
Vermont Bookshop showcases books about space in their shop window, as well as staff picks, and more. Ilsley Library will transform the children’s section on the lower level to all things outer space! Come see the recommended books for young ages and make a space craft.
Friday, November 11, LIVE MUSIC at THT:
THT welcomes Atom and the Orbits for a concert at 7pm.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students.
Saturday, November 12, at 12:30pm at Marquis:
The Marquis Kid’s Cafe will feature Disney’s Treasure Planet. FREE.
Saturday, November 12, 2-4pm Space Talk at THT:
In a family-friendly matinee, Town Hall Theater features local experts, and former astronaut Stephen Oswald, discussing all things outer space! Astrophysicist and Middlebury Professor Eilat Glikman guides a discussion featuring Paul Walker from The Vermont Astronomical Society, Chris Carella and Laura Smith share an exciting announcement from Benchmark Space Systems, plus details on topics such as how astronauts go to the bathroom in space, the library loaner telescope program, and more space facts and surprise appearances!
Free admission; suggested donation of $10 at the door.
