Have you heard of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library or Addison County Readers? If not, we’re about to let you in on one of the best kept secrets around! Children (birth to five years) who are registered for this wonderful program receive a FREE children’s book in the mail each month that is theirs to keep. Addison County Readers, is the local sponsor of the Imagination Library and pays for the entire cost of the books, approximately $30 per child per year. Currently over 1000 Addison County children are receiving a monthly, age-appropriate books.
