We are SO excited for December! Truthfully we’re looking forward to November ending, but we’re even more thrilled about all the awesome events around the corner. Most notably, A Very Merry Middlebury! The crafty elves around Middlebury (aka the Better Middlebury Partnership) have been working overtime to guarantee a very special month that’s sure to make even your most Grinch-like teen smile.
Because the complete list of events this December is so robust, we thought we’d highlight some of our favorites. Here are a few of MiniBury’s must do events:
Watch Santa arrive by fire truck over Cross Street Bridge and up Main Street at 9:45 a.m, then enjoy an old fashion visit with him! Santa will also be visiting other locations throughout the month. Free
Festival of Wreaths at Town Hall Theater. View over 100 wreaths while enjoying food, music and friends. Silent auction supports Mary Johnson Children’s Center. Saturday, December 1. Free, donations appreciated.
Holiday Character Breakfast at Middlebury Inn. Come eat, color, and mingle with your favorite holiday characters! Saturday, December 8. Limited seating, tickets required.
Polar Express at Town Hall Theater. Enjoy a matinée on the big screen. Saturday, December 8. $5
