The MiniBury Events Calendar is a community resource featuring kid- and family-friendly events, activities, and happenings in Addison County, Vermont, and surrounding communities.
MiniBury is currently managed by two busy local moms who volunteer their time to help connect families with great things to do. We love sharing community events, but because we’re volunteer-run, we can’t guarantee that every event will be published or promoted. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we review submissions.
What kinds of events do you include?
We feature a wide variety of family-friendly events, with priority given to free and donation-based activities that are open to the public.
Free community events
Whenever possible, we’re happy to share free and donation-based community events at no charge. These listings are added as our volunteer schedules allow and are not guaranteed. If your event is time-sensitive, please submit it as far in advance as possible.
Paid events
Events that charge admission are considered advertising and require paid advertising for inclusion on MiniBury. Advertising options include sponsored social media and calendar posts, website ads, and email newsletter placements.
Even if your event is free, advertising is available if you’d like guaranteed placement, broader reach, or promotion on a specific timeline. Click here to contact us about advertising.
Events we typically do not include
To keep our calendar focused and useful for families, we generally do not publish:
Multi-week classes, camps, or programs that require advance registration and are not drop-in friendly
Events that are not inclusive or welcoming to the broader community
Overtly political events
Events intended primarily for adults without a clear connection to children, families, or caregiving
Events with admission costs that are prohibitive for most families
MiniBury reserves the right to edit submissions for length or clarity and to decline any event at its sole discretion. As a small volunteer-run organization, we appreciate everyone who takes the time to submit complete, accurate event information, as it helps us spend less time tracking down details and more time sharing great family activities with our community.
