calling all rink rats!

10.19.2012 By: Eliza, MiniBury Founder

calling all rink rats! We’re really excited to tell you about some new additions to the MiniBury calendar! We just added events open to the public at the Memorial Sports Center in Middlebury. Winter is right around the corner, so it’s time to lace up your skates and get out on the ice. Public skate and stick & puck are open to all ages and abilities (except when noted). Hockey skate rentals are available for $4 for both adults and children.

For those new to the sport, try out the Initiation to Hockey Program, which introduces skating and hockey skills (with emphasis on skating) to children ages 4-7 in two 6-week sessions, meeting once weekly on Sundays.  A fun, first experience on the ice.  Fee: $80 per session.  All necessary equipment, other than skates, is available to rent for $25. Please email registrar@middleburyhockey.org with questions and registration materials. All sessions will begin at 12:45pm and be held at The Memorial Sports Center (ice rink behind Shaws).

First Session: Sundays, November 4, 11, 18 25, December 2, 9

Second Session: Sundays, December 16, 23, January 6, 13, 27, Sunday, February 3

Eliza, MiniBury Founder

Hello, I’m Eliza. I founded MiniBury in 2012 because I had a hunch that I wasn't the only parent in Addison County missing fun family friendly events. I love the challenge of finding and sharing information about our community to other parents.
