Want to change a child’s life?
Donate books. It sounds simple because it is. Sadly, U.S. Department of Education research shows that over 60% of children living in poverty own no books at home. Bonnie’s Book Foundation (a local 501(c)(3) non-profit) is partnering with Junebug Mother and Child, in Middlebury, to host a children’s book drive during the month of March.
Please bring your new and gently used children’s books for all ages, from board books through young adult, to Junebug, at 5 Park Street in Middlebury, Vermont, any time during the month of March. BBF will “rehome” your books directly to children who need and want them in a summer reading distribution at the end of the school year.
Donors can browse the BBF Amazon wish list and send books directly through Amazon.
Please consider taking a few minutes to sort through your bookshelves. Your books will go directly into the hands of local kids who need and want them.
