Here’s what’s happening near you….
Tonight there’s a Benefit Bake at American Flatbread in Middlebury for Keewaydin! A portion of the price of each Flatbread will be donated to them. We hope you can come support this wonderful non-profit program — If you don’t know who they are, then check them out here.
The NCAA competition continues through the weekend. The Snow Bowl is hosting the men’s and women’s slalom Friday and Rikert Nordic Center is hosting the men’s 20k freestyle and women’s 15k freestyle Saturday. Both these events feature the top collegiate racers in the county! If you can’t make it up the mountain, check them out online, both events will be streamed live here.
Get ready to hit this town Saturday! The 5th annual Vermont Chili Festival is Saturday afternoon. Restaurants and caterers will be dishing up their favorite stews, chow down with your family or simply enjoying the closed off streets and live entertainment. All ages $5; free for kids under 8.
Need a break from the outdoors? Stop by the Middlebury College Museum of Art and remind your kids (and yourself) that sometimes it’s ok to draw on the walls. The new Sol LeWitt drawing, created by a group of Middlebury students, is a great example of creative collaboration. Check out this short video before you go. The drawing will be on view through April 21 in the Overbrook Gallery.
