Just imagine: uninterrupted adult conversation, relaxing music, great food and drinks, plus that warm and fuzzy feeling you’ll get knowing you’re supporting one of our most valuable local resources, Porter Medical Center.* Wondering what we’re talking about? An Evening for Porter, the event hosted by the Porter Medical Center Auxiliary on January 24ᵗʰ at Two Brothers Tavern in Middlebury, of course! The adults only event is from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m., which means the babysitter is feeding the kiddos and putting them to bed, yippee!
An Evening for Porter features local food and drinks, piano music from Fred Barnes (bonus: you will actually be able to talk to your friends, not just shout at them), and an absolutely awesome raffle prize, an original Anne Cady painting “Much More than this One Road” (shown above and valued at $4,500). Tickets are $25 per person which includes an evening of delicious food plus your first drink. Raffle tickets can be purchased for $10 each either before or during the event. And while you don’t have to be present to win the raffle, just think how fun it would be to stroll home with the $4,500 painting in your arms!
Tickets for the event at $25 per person and raffle tickets are $10. Both may be purchased online here or by phone 802-388-4738.
So go ahead and book yourself a babysitter!
Funds raised from this event will support the community programs and important work of Porter Medical Center and Helen Porter Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. To learn more about the Porter Medical Center Auxiliary Board, check out their mission here.
