Art Opening At The Sculpture Park

The public is welcome to an opening night event at the Lemon Fair Sculpture Park to celebrate the many new pieces in the park including Susan Teare’s art installation, “Find Your Own Space. Rain date: June 20.

The site-specific installation was created by the artist, Teare, in collaboration with her son, Kirk Teare, and is one of the newest pieces at the open-air sculpture park. Susan Teare is an artist based in Essex Junction, Vermont. Kirk is a rising senior at the University of Colorado at Boulder and is studying environmental, product, and lighting design.

The Lemon Fair Sculpture Park is located eight miles southwest of Middlebury in East Shoreham, Vermont at 4547 Route 74. It features a self-guided, mowed, mile-long path with over 50 sculptures from artists all over the United States, and one from Argentina. Parking is available in the circular driveway by the road. Admission is free, but donations are accepted.
